A lot of people want to lose weight, but your overall health and wellness is not as easy as a one size fits all approach. My background in mental health allows me to look at your wellness with a broader lens. I look at the macro (no pun intended) and not just the zoomed in micro lens of your health goals

Macros are flexible

You may have heard the saying IIFYM which stands for “If It Fits Your Macros”. This means you can eat out, have dessert and still meet your health goals as long as you are able to track your macronutrients to fit your customized targets.

Diets don’t work often times because you feel like you are depriving yourself of the foods that you love. With macros you don’t have to deprive yourself! Eat the food you love!

Once you meet your goals, we can also assess what your maintenance macros are. When we are in maintenance, we eat the amount of calories that we burn naturally through our day to day activities. This number is personalized and based on your age, gender and activity level. People usually are surprised at how much they actually get to eat!
